The aim of
the symposium is to give researchers in technology education the opportunity to
present and communicate their work at the national and international level. The
focus is to discuss the scope, methods, outcomes and perspectives of research
in technology education in the context of the symposium themes (the symposium
is organized together with the Mathematics and Science Education Research
Association and the Association of Technology Teachers):
1) equal
opportunities for students in technology education, science and mathematics
(including computer science education) and
2) technology teacher education and primary school teacher education. You will
find more information about the conference (programme, paper proposals,
registration, accommodation, tours) by activating the links on this page.
It is a
great pleasure to invite you to join the Annual Symposium of the Finnish
Association for Research in Technology Education in Helsinki together with the
20TH ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF THE Finnish Mathematics and Science Education
Research Association and in Lahti together with the Association of Technology
Teachers. We are looking forward to meet you in Helsinki and Lahti.
