  Hosted by the City of Rovaniemi, held at the Rovaniemi Art Museum. Rovaniemi Art Museum sets its main focus on Finnish contemporary art, Nordic art and art of the native peoples alongside with environmental and community art. There will be bus transportation from the conference hotels to the evening venue and back.

  Arktikum (Pohjoisranta 4)
  Arktikum is a science centre, museum and unique architectural sight. The Provincial Museum of Lapland researches and presents the Lappish wilderness and cultural heritage moulded by it. The Arctic Centre presents the interaction between man and nature in the northern areas. The evening will include a guided tour in the Arktikum exhibitions and a reception with a warm meal. Reception is hosted be Rector Esko Riepula, University of Lapland. There will be bus transportation from the conference hotels to the evening venue and back.

  Sky Hotel (Ounasvaara)
  The Conference Dinner will be held at Sky Hotel located right on top of the Ounasvaara Fell. The view from the top of Ounasvaara Fell is quite magnificent - you can see the city spread out below and the Kemi river valley beyond. Delicious food and good wine in excellent company! There will be bus transportation from the conference hotels to the dinner venue and back.

"Lumberjack's Test"
- Conference Closing Session and The Best Paper Award
  Kotisaari log floating camp
  Getting to grips with the Lumberjack's life! The conference Closing Session will be arranged in a very special setting at the Kotisaari log floating camp, where the camp boss and his foremen welcome the new "trainees" after their journey onboard the traditional riverboats. The program will include warm lunch indoors and challenging activities primarily outdoors, so warm and comfortable clothing is recommended. Rubber boots and rain coats (if necessary) will be provided.

There will organized transportation from the conference hotels to the conference venue and back on both conference days.

The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the preliminary program.
